Rfw-ratings

The ROBLOXiwood Standards and Ratings Authority's movie rating system is a feature unique to ROBLOX Film Wiki, which informs viewers of the expected content and warns them about potentially offensive content.

Accuracy

The accuracy of this meter is mixed, as things like gore, swearing, sex, and other non-user age friendly materials can be present in many videos, yet would not automatically fall into definite catagories.Controversal topics can also affect a video, for there is little chance of a Political Violence video being rated G. However, below are some things to sort out once. In honesty, the aspect of common sense must be used here and cannot be properly defined.

Positions on the Ratings and Requirements:

EVERYBODY/GENERAL AUDIENCES (E)

Materials that have no swearing, gore, sex, and are 100% in-line with Roblox's user-age friendlyness. Film tends to have family-orientated elements, and doesn't speak of controversal topics.

EVERYBODY WITH CAUTION (EC)

Materials that have minor swearing, some gore, little to no sexual references  and are 95% in-line with Roblox's user-age friendlyness. A couple of Roblox Films fall into this category, and does not mention controversal topics.

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR UNDER 13 (E-13)

Materials that have some swearing, some gore, minor sexual references, and are 60% in-line with Roblox's user-age friendlyness. Most Roblox Films fall into this catagory, and can mention controversal topics

MATURE AUDIENCES (M)

Materials that have a lot of swearing, a lot of gore, heavy sexual references, and are 30% in-line with Roblox's user-age friendlyness. Some Roblox Films fall into this catagory, and can be mostly about controversal topics.

INTENDED FOR AUDIENCES 16+ (I-16)

Materials that have mostly swearing, mostly gore, intense sexual references, and are 10% in-line with Roblox's user-age friendlyness. Little to no Roblox Films fall into this catagory, and for the majority are entirely offensive or controversal topics.

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR UNDER 18 (I-18)

Materials that have heavy swearing, heavy gore, explicit sexual references, and are less than 1% in-line with Robloxs user-age friendlyness. Barely a single Roblox Films fall into this catagory, and would likely be NSFW material. Any films/series under this rating MUST have the Mature Content template at the top of the article.

UN-CLASSIFIED (UC)

Materials that have not been rated by the Movie Ratings. Usually a film that either the movie director, or the editor of the page (see If you see a Movie article with no Movie Rating, and are unsure what to do:) does not know which film rating the movie is, or if the admins of this website are just unsure what to rank it, OR if the materials are extended/labeled unrated by the movie-maker will get this rating.

How to add Ratings to a Director Article

Once you have identified the rating for that director, go to the edit page of the article, hover over the green jigsaw at the top, and click edit at the bottom right corner of the dialog that comes up. Scroll down to the famemeter section, and paste the name of the image of that rating. They are given below:

  • G.png OR E.png (General/Everybody)
  • PG.png OR EC.png (Everybody Caution)
  • PG-13.png OR E-13.png (Everybody 13+)
  • PG-15.png OR M.png (Mature)
  • R.png OR I-16.png (Intended 16+)
  • NC-17.png OR I-18.png (Not recommended under 18)
  • U.png OR UC.png (Unclassified)

Special Ratings on Movies:

It is possible that some movies have adopted a system that is separate from the Wiki. Some companies label their films a G instead of a PG-13 rating through their trailers or descriptions. Other times, companies adopt a system of rankings entirely different than the standard RSRA system. For movies that have different rating systems or follow their own criteria for the standard RSRA system, the wiki MUST allow them to put their own custom rating on their movies. It should be noted that the RSRA does not support these special ratings and will not be responsible for any matters arising from these ratings.

If you see a Movie article with no Movie Rating, and are unsure what to do:

Just simply post this: {{MovieRatingNeeded}} into the article (make sure you're in Source mode). It will add a message at the top of the page and put the article in a category so people know it needs a rating. The message will look like this:
